What is a "bower"? The archaic meaning of "bower" is a lady's
boudoir in a medieval castle! This one has a cozy queen canopy
bed & a view of the North garden, lawn and 100 year old Victorian
church. Lowest level. Private bath. $95.
- The Leopard's Lair
Queen bed. Serengeti wallpaper. Leopard, cheetah, lynx, wallpaper
in private bathroom with old fashioned clawfoot tub. View of
1920's Masonic Temple and 100 year old church and North garden.

- The Iris Garden
Wake up to sunbeams streaming through bay windows in the sunny
south side room. Lilac and Iris motif. Views of Astoria, OR
Column, treetops and nearby Victorian homes. Queen bed, and

can study the names of butterflies as you sit on "The Throne").
Mini view of ships to the North and Victorian homes to the South

- Anastasia's Room
Smallest, coziest room with pink petal paper, pictures and comforter.

"Treetops." Spacious room with spectacular view from balcony

- The Bird Tweet
Sleeps four. Two single bedrooms, each with one queen bed; one
has canopy curtains. "Little Hummers" looks over Columbia River.
"The Bird Meadow" has bird books and song bird wallpaper. Two

Rates
$66-$129 per night - open all year. Visa, MC, Discover, and personal
checks received two weeks in advance of stay.
From Halloween 10/31 - 4/15, 2nd consecutive night is only
$41 for most rooms with a private bath. All offers subject to
projected and/or actual availability. From 5/1-5/20 and from
6/1-6/15 and from 9/15-10/15 enjoy $11.00 less. Most rooms with
private baths, Sunday through Friday night.

From I-5, take Highway 26 and 101 or Highway 30 to Astoria, Oregon then south on 16th St., four blocks from Columbia River. Turn right on Grand (streets are alphabetical). Second house on the right and you have arrived at the historical and charming Grandview Bed and Breakfast lodging. We are so much more than a hotel!
